1. The author talks about how all forms of modern media are just old media remediated. In this day and age is it possible to produce media that is original, not remediated?
2. The author also mentions that text is being remediated aggressively, which makes me think of newspapers and how they are struggling. As technology progresses will it be possible for old forms of media to survive?
3. This piece also reminded me of artists like Girl Talk. Do artists like Girl Talk who incorporate dozens of artists into one track owe something to those artists, or should his work just be accepted as older forms of music being remediated?
