Answer to Octavio's Question

Do you really see yourself in a cartoon and what effect does it have on your perception as a simplified conceptualized image?

When I see a cartoon or a comic book the characters are usually all very different. When a character gets stripped down from a concept in a persons mind, who usually has an actual person in mind, to the simplicity of a comic book character, I think it amplifies that characters traits. In order for a cartoon or comic book character to be effective, the specific traits almost have to be exaggerated.
